Director
is the person
who rehearses the
performers (actors) and
coordinates their work
with that of
others, such as
the designers, to
make certain that
the script is performed
appropriately,
intelligently, and excitingly.
(Wilson, 1974, 1980,
1985, 1988, 1991,
1994).
The
artist working most
closely with performers
in the theatre
is the director,
who guides them
in shaping their
performances. The director
also responsible for
coordinating other aspects
of the production,
such as the
work of the
scenic, costume, and
lighting designers. Basically,
the duties of a
director is divided
into three phase
like pre-production, production,
and post-production :
